Kiron Clarke is a fitness trainer, young entrepreneur, and founder of Athletic Showcase and AS Fitness23 who aspires to give help to the next generation of athletes.
His athletic background began at Notre Dame Catholic School in Brampton, Ontario. He played football for the Knights until grade 11, and continued when he transferred to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School to play for the Cardinals. Kiron’s great success in football grew his passion for the sport.
In his senior year, Kiron played with great determination and ferocity with the ambition of playing at a university in the United States. However, due to the overwhelming lack of resources and expenses associated with capturing game footage and developing highlight videos, it was very difficult for Kiron to showcase his talents.
By the time Kiron was finally able to find the resources and put together a highlight video, he had already missed signing deadlines for his prospective schools in the United States.
Fortunately, he was accepted on a football scholarship to Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Quebec, where he enjoyed playing football there for four seasons while working to obtain his degree.
During his studies and playing career, he often wondered how many others have been affected by the same or similar situation. It was at that point that he decided to focus his energy to create a platform that would help other young, aspiring athletes accomplish their goals and not be discouraged.
Kiron has personally been in the position of a student athlete looking for help in order to continue his football career. He knows the struggle of the process – and in 2009, he founded Athletic Showcase, whose primary purpose is to help student-athletes with that same, difficult process.
